Came home from a run and went to check on Thomas before he went to bed

Mommy: Did you go pee pee on the potty, Thomas?
Thomas: No, I didn't
Mommy: Why
Thomas: Because I went pee pee on the floor
Mommy: Why didn't you go in the potty?
Thomas: Because I don't know how, I need to learn
Mommy: Okay, we will teach you
Thomas: I will learn and then I will be a big boy, don't worry Mommy
Mommy: Okay, Thomas I know you will learn

Other day in Daddy's truck on the way to school...

Thomas says: I'm a little bit freezing

After buying soccer cleats and shinguards yesterday

Mommy: Aren't you so excited about your soccer shoes and shinguards and soccer socks ?
Thomas: Yes
Mommy: And you know Grandpa and Grandma will probably come watch your games
Thomas: And Ba Ngoai and Ong Ngoai will come too
Mommy: Yes, they will come too
Thomas: Okay, I will shoot and I will score and then everyone will clap for me

In the truck ready to go somewhere:

Thomas: Mommy, can I watch a DVD?
Mommy: Yes, Thomas you can watch a DVD
Thomas: Will you watch it with me Mommy?
Mommy: No, I don't feel like watching one right now
Thomas: Why Mommy? Its not scary
